Correct Answer: 4 km towards the south
Solution : Firstly, we will draw the diagram as per the given instructions–
Here, A is the starting point and B is the endpoint.
AC = 4 km; CD = 8 km; DE = 8 km; EF = 4 km; FB = 4 km
Now, find the distance between the starting point and the endpoint–
AB = CD – EF = 8 – 4 = 4 km
So, Rajesh should drive 4 km towards the south to reach point A.Hence, the third option is correct.
