@Barnacules @ZiplyFiber this is why i dropped Direct tv... you need their "special" box to get service... yet they want to charge me $20/m for the box... id rather they bake the cost into the sub than it be separate.

@Barnacules @ZiplyFiber flash backs to the vend of the 90's when NTL (in the UK) first launched their DOCSIS Cable Modem Service at a blistering 512kb/s!!As an an early adopter I had to buy my 3comfor around £150 although there was no additional rental/installation charge.

I never had issues w @ZiplyFiber but I move to a place not serviced by them and use @CoxComm and nothing but issues. Sick of the spinning stream!!!!

@Barnacules @Logan_RTW @ZiplyFiber Yeah, that's bullsh*t and their CSRs don't know what they're talking about. They can't make you use their modem. If you use your own, they just won't provide support for it.Once it's up and running, send their equipment back to them and they'll stop charging you for it.

Got an update and talked to 2 more customer service reps. It was back up and worked for 2 phone calls. Our phone is not calling out and so much static you can’t hear anything when it rings through. Someone is supposed to come work on it tomorrow… @ZiplyFiber #unimpressed

@ZiplyFiber I just joined your service two weeks ago. My internet has been down since 2:30pm. I called tech support they said that it should be fixed or 9 tomorrow to check back then. That’s 18 hours…the entire LTOR extended trilogy is 12 hours..just putting that out there..
